CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Washing

To preserve the delicate nature of silk, always follow the care label instructions.
Some silk fabrics require dry cleaning only, while others can be hand washed in cold water.
You may add a small amount of vinegar, lemon juice, or salt to help maintain the fabric’s sheen, then rinse thoroughly several times.

If you choose to use a detergent, opt for one specifically formulated for silk. Avoid traditional laundry powders, as they can damage the fibers, altering the color and natural luster of the fabric.
After rinsing, do not twist or wring the material — gently press out the excess water instead.

Drying

Lay silk items flat to dry on a clean, dry towel.
To safely iron silk, use a steamer or place a thin protective cloth between the silk and the iron to prevent direct contact with heat.

Storage

Silk garments are best stored on hangers, allowing air to circulate freely around them.
This helps the fabric retain its softness, shape, and longevity.
